2.Can frequent use of fast charging harm my EV's battery?

Using fast charging regularly can have some impact on an EV's battery health over time. However, modern EVs are designed to handle fast charging without significant degradation. To minimize the impact, avoid charging the battery to its maximum capacity often and use AC charging when feasible for day-to-day charging.

3.How long does it take to charge an electric vehicle fully?

The time required to fully charge an electric vehicle varies based on the EV's battery size and the charging station's power output. On average, an AC charger might take 3 to 20 hours, and DC fast charging can provide an 80% charge in 20 to 60 minutes. Remember that charging times are approximate and can differ depending on the EV model and the state of the battery when charging begins. Always refer to your vehicle's manual or charging station specifications for accurate charging times.

4.Can I charger 2 Wheelers in Zeon Charging Station?

No, only the vehicle which are having, CCS2, Type2 & CHAdeMO charging ports can charger in our charging stations.

5.Where can I find DC fast charging stations?

DC fast charging stations are usually located along major highways, in busy urban areas, and at rest stops. They are designed for long-distance travel and quick top-ups while on the road.

6.How can I find nearby EV charging stations?

You can Zeon Charging mobile apps, websites to locate nearby charging stations. These platforms provide real-time information about available chargers, charging speeds, and pricing.

7.How do I get a B2B tax invoice with company details?

You can update your company name and GST details in your profile. Post update from next charging session onwards you will get B2B tax invoice.

8.What customer support options are available through the Zeon Charging App?

The Zeon Charging App typically provides multiple customer support channels to assist users. These may include:

The sign-up process is pretty simple, you can login by entering mobile number and email address. Post OTP verification signup process will be completed. After completing the sign-up process add your vehicle details in your profile

3.How do I top-up my Zeon charging wallet?

After completing the sign-up process go to the more option and click on wallet, Enter the amount for the top-up and make payment through preferred payment modes (UPI, Credit & Debit card, net banking & external wallets)

4.What are the payment options available on the Zeon Charging App?

Zeon Charging App typically offers various payment methods to make the charging process convenient for users. Common payment options may include:

  • UPI, Credit or Debit Cards, Net Banking: You can securely add your credit or debit card details to the app and use it to pay for charging sessions directly.

The payment process on the Zeon Charging App is straightforward and typically follows these steps:

  • Once your charging session is complete, the total cost of charging will be debited from the Zeon charging app
  • After successful payment, the app will provide a payment receipt & tax invoice and send an email confirmation for your records.

6.How do I find a Zeon Charging station & check the availability and tariff?

You can use Zeon Charging app to check the charger’s availability and the current tariff. tariff may base on time of the days and location. Make sure to view complete tariff schedule.

7.How do I use the Zeon Charging App to navigate to a charging point?

To navigate to a charging point using the Zeon Charging App, follow these steps:

  • Open the Zeon Charging App on your smartphone or device.
  • Ensure your location services are enabled for accurate navigation.
  • Go to the app's map or search feature to find nearby charging stations.
  • Select the desired charging station from the list or map view.
  • Tap on the "Navigate" or "Get Directions" button.
  • The app will launch your device's default navigation app (such as Google Maps or Apple Maps) with the address of the selected charging station pre-filled.

8.Can multiple used logins to the same account?

Yes, multiple users can log in to a single account, and Zeon charging app allows to initiate multiple session same time. Primary user can logout from all the devices if required using OTO authorization.

9.How can I plan my trip using Zeon charging app?

Zeon Charging mobile offers trip planner, which will be in the home page right to the search bar.

  • Enter your start point and destination the app will show the available charging stations along the route

10.How to start a session?

There are 4 ways to start in Zeon after plugging in the connector. Ensure your EV is properly parked at the charging station. Make sure there is sufficient balance in the zeon charging wallet.

    Via scanning the QR on the charger

    Scan the QR corresponding to the connector pasted on the charger using zeon charging app and click on start charging. The charging session should commence, and you'll see real-time charging data on the app while your vehicle charges.

  • b.

    Via More option

    Select the charger point from the zeon charging app which you would like to use. Click on the more option and select the charger and the connector and click on start charging. The charging session should commence, and you'll see real-time charging data on the app while your vehicle charges.

  • c.

    Using RFID

    Make sure you have zeon charging’s RFID key. Plug-in the connector and place the RFID on the RFID reader. The charging session should commence, and you'll see real-time charging data on the app while your vehicle charges.

    Using Auto charge (Only with CCS connectors)

    Make sure Autocharge is enabled for your vehicle. (To enable Autocharge refer C.2 Plug-in the CCS connector to your vehicle. The charging session should commence, and you'll see real-time charging data on the app while your vehicle charges.

11.Can I monitor the charging progress remotely using the Zeon Charging App?

Yes, Zeon Charging App, allow users to monitor their charging sessions remotely. You can keep track of the charging progress, energy consumption, charging speed(kW) & Charging duration through the app. The app will also send push notifications or alerts when the charging session is completed or if there are any issues during charging.

C. RFID & Auto Charge

1. What is RFID key and how can it order it?

Zeon Charging RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology for user authorization. Here's how it works:

  • Buy Zeon Charging RFID from the mobile app, the RFID will be synced with users account and wallet Users.
  • When arriving at a Zeon Charging Station, the user places the RFID card near the designated reader on the charging station.
  • The RFID reader scans the card's code and verifies it against the user's account information stored in the Zeon Charging App or database, the charger will initiate a charging session.

2. Where can I see the RFIDs/Autocharge which are assigned to my account?

You can click on more; there you can find the option to view and deactivate the RFIDs which are assigned to your account.

3. What are the advantages of using RFID authorization on charging stations?

The use of RFID authorization offers several benefits for both users and charging station operators:

  • User-Friendly: The process of authorizing a charging session with an RFID key is quick and straightforward, enhancing user convenience.
  • Multiple accessibility: One Zeon Charging account/ profile can have multiple RFID assigned to them. This will enable the multiple users to charger the vehicle without creating multiple account.

4. What should I do if I lost or broke my RFID?

  • I you lose your RFID key by accident, go to the RFID dashboard and deactivate your key, using OTP authorization this will make the RFID unusable.
  • If your RFID gets damaged go to the RFID dashboard and deactivate your key, using OTP authorization this will make the RFID unusable, you can place new order from the same page.

5. What is Autocharge and how can enable it to my vehicle?

An Auto Charger is an innovative feature available in most Zeon Charging Stations that streamlines the charging process for compatible electric vehicles. You can request to enable autocharge through Zeon Charging app. Once the session gets initiated the app will show the option to request for autocharge if your vehicle is eligible for autocharge. The request will be reviews and accepted or rejected within 3 working days, the request status will be sent over email. Post approval, here's how it works:

  • Auto Charger-enabled electric vehicles are equipped with secure communication capabilities and standardized protocols.
  • When an Auto Charger-equipped EV is plugged into a compatible Zeon Charging Station, the charging station and the EV automatically establish a secure communication link.
  • The charging station authenticates the EV's identity and billing information directly through the vehicle's communication system, eliminating the need for separate RFID cards or manual authorization.
  • Once the authentication is successful, the charging session commences without any further user intervention.
  • The Auto Charger system simplifies the charging process, making it seamless and user-friendly for EV owners.

6. How can I transfer or delete my autocharge enabled vehicles?

Autocharge can be temporally disabled for your profile, if you don’t own the vehicle anymore you can delete the autocharge from your profile. Deleting and deactivating will go through OTP authorization. Once the autocharge is deleted from your profile the vehicle can be enabled form another users’ profile.

7. What are the benefits of using an Auto Charger system at Zeon Charging Stations?

8.Are all EV models compatible with the Auto Charger feature at Zeon Charging Stations?

Not all EV models are compatible with the Auto Charger feature, as it requires specific communication capabilities and standardized protocols. Therefore, it's essential for EV owners to check their vehicle's specifications and consult with the charging station operator to determine compatibility.

D.Wallet balance refund.

Customer can request for refund through registered email or mobile number. Refund will be processed, and amount will be credited back to the user’s original payment source with 3 to 5 business days.

E. Buy a personal/Commercial EV charger
